"Step up"
Stained, distressed oak and painted MDF board

The piece "Step up" is made from white oak and MDF board that has been stained, sanded and damaged with chains and hammer so that each step looks worn and aged. The bottom step has the most wear and tear and the step above and climbing has progressively less deterioration. The top step is pristine and untouched awaiting the potential climber to make their mark.
The title is a call to keep going even if the journey may look hazardous and difficult.
